Grand Prix Chair with Metal Legs by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen
In 1957, Fritz Hansen introduced the Grand Prix at the Designer's Spring Exhibition at the Danish Museum of Art & Design in Copenhagen. Later that year, it was displayed at Triennale in Milan where it received the Grand Prize - the finest distinction of the exhibit.
